As a Software Engineer in the R&D team of the ideation department, you will design, develop, and implement software solutions to address various technological challenges, focused on software infrastructure.
· Building robust and scalable systems
· Writing clean and efficient code
· Collaborating with cross-functional team members to ensure the seamless integration of our AI solution to the IoT factory platform
· Exploring new technologies
· Optimizing existing systems
· Ensuring the highest quality of software development practices
· B.Sc in Computer Science or equivalent.
· 4+ years as a software engineer with hands-on experience.
· Have hands-on experience with OOP – Python (must), and Java(advantage).
· Experience with NoSQL databases MongoDB, and Cassandra.
· Experience in microservices CI\CD based architecture using Kubernetes, Docker, Kafka, Grafana - Strong Advantage
· DevOps experience – Advantage.
· Experience with web frameworks like Django, Flask, SpringBoot – Advantage
· Experience in developing, testing, maintaining, and monitoring scalable distributed systems – Advantage.
· Cloud and server less experience - Advantage
· Endless curiosity
· Team player, create good synergy with fellow researchers / team.
· Presentation skills to clearly present outcomes to SMARTECH management at all levels.
· Tech enthusiast, interested in exploring new technologies, quick learner.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
· Office located in Caesarea Industrial Park.
· May require travels in Israel to academic, manufacturing or other sites.
